Two Major Milestones: A Week of Celebration and Gratitude
This past week was one for the books — two incredible milestones that fill my heart with gratitude and awe.
The first and greatest: my daughter, Alaire, was baptized at 20 years old.
I can’t begin to express the depth of joy that brings me.
And the second: today marks 10 years of being a certified life coach.
Both are worth celebrating, but seeing my daughter dedicate her life to Jesus will always rise to the top.
To everyone who has prayed, encouraged, supported, and loved her along the way — thank you. Truly.
Your influence is priceless.
I can’t help but reflect on my own spiritual journey.
I was also baptized at 20, back at UMass in the campus ministry.
I remember studying the Bible deeply for the first time, discovering not only who God is — but who I was in His eyes.
For the first time, I felt fully accepted, not based on my performance, achievements, or ability to outwork everyone… but accepted in spite of all of that. Accepted because Jesus paid the price for me — through pain and sacrifice I can hardly comprehend.
That realization brought absolute freedom. My true Independence Day.
Before that moment, I lived with a quiet lie — “You are not enough.”
Every day felt like a reset: wake up and prove yourself again.
The cycle: work harder, perform better, accomplish more… only to feel emptier by nightfall. Exhausting.
Depressing.
Never enough.
But grace broke that cycle.
And now, to see my daughter joyfully make Jesus Lord — to embrace that same grace — is overwhelming.

Now, milestone number two — a full decade of coaching. Looking back, it makes perfect sense.
Ever since I was young, something in me wanted to help others become their best — what one assessment called “Liberating Greatness.” Maybe it started because I personally needed that freedom.
Ministry gave me a front-row seat to transformation, but coaching took that further — helping others discover answers from within, rather than me giving the answers for them.
Seeing people get results faster, with more ownership and joy — that has been one of the greatest privileges of my life.
